Post-Processor Major Words

Major words are post-processor commands that are represented in the CLDATA using unique subclass codes of the 2000 class record. These words generally appear in an APT source file at the start of records, before the / character (if any). The tables below list the built-in Major words supported by Icam Post, sorted both alphabetically and numerically by subclass code.

New Major words and their associated codes can be added to the default words file, or to the words file associated with an interface kit. Major word names must start with an alphabetic character and consist only of alphanumeric characters, to a maximum length of 24 characters.

Major word subclass codes must be positive whole numbers. By convention, words representing commands that will not have parameters (e.g., RAPID) have code values less than 1000, and those with parameters (e.g., FEDRAT) have code values 1000 and higher. To avoid defining a new code for your own use that might ultimately conflict with a built-in code, use the ranges 90–99 and 1900–1999.
